The Deakin Student Legal Service provides free and confidential legal advice, information, referral and education to currently enrolled Deakin students.

Legal advice is provided by qualified lawyers. Some of the legal matters we can advise you on include:

  • Motor Vehicle accidents (not TAC)
  • Debt / Bills / Consumer problems including Scams
  • Tenancy / Housing
  • Employment Law including Sexual Harrassment and Bullying
  • Stalking & Family Violence
  • Family Law
  • Discrimination
  • Minor Criminal Matters
  • Migration Law

Even if you are not sure if your problem is a legal one please send us an email or give us a call.  If we are unable to help we will refer you to someone who can.
